Hey Quentin, It wasn’t meant to be taken too seriously, as no one’s experience is that cut and dry, and, as you said, it is subjective. I could write another article about all the things that I will always love about Paris, like her beauty, history, local markets and beautiful language. There’s nothing like a walk along the Seine at sunset and so forth. It was just an article about the disappointing side of returning to Paris after 37 years (you were probably too young or may not have even been born) because I was disappointed. Either way, Paris will always be Paris regardless of what I have to say. I’m glad we agree about the snails!
